This jazzy mix of Danaga & Indjstione’s tune ‘Hai Stai’ brings fresh musical legs to a track already full of the lyrical excellence of Indjstione. The man behind the beats, Danaga, describes his music as “homemade hard listening and electronic”, with the 60s and 70s influence he cites making its way through the textures of this track and many of his others. This Romanian collaboration provides the perfect blend of thought-out verses and improvised jazzy interjections, while acting as another in a long line of excellent releases from Danaga, ranging from his collaborations with Florian Tarlea, to his excellent first album Am a-aripi. -Dan Peeke
